One of the largest distribution centers of ATB in Dnipro suffered a hostile strike

On the afternoon of June 3, the Russians attacked the suburbs of Dnipro. A direct hit by an attack drone disabled one of the largest multi-temperature distribution centers of ATB. The destroyed facility was a state-of-the-art class A distribution center with a total area of 37.5 thousand sq. m., with modern warehouse logistics management systems, in particular Manhattan SCALE WMS, which is used by leading global companies in the field of logistics and retail. The main thing is that thanks to the security measures implemented at ATB, the worst-case scenario was prevented - human losses!

The attacked distribution center provided supplies of products to more than three hundred stores of the ATB retail chain in the Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhia regions. The deliberate disruption of one of the key elements of the company’s logistics infrastructure in eastern and southeastern Ukraine is in fact an attack on the critical infrastructure and food supply system of the population of Ukraine.

The exact amount of damage suffered by the company will be calculated by experts a little later - after a detailed examination of the affected facility, but it is already obvious that the bill will run into hundreds of millions of hryvnias.

Despite the significant loss of assets, the huge amount of goods and the new logistical challenge in the company reassure customers that there will be no shortage or significant disruptions in the supply of goods. ATB is already promptly redistributing logistics flows between other distribution centers and is taking all necessary measures to minimize the impact on the entire system of supplying goods to stores.

As before, the priority for ATB remains the uninterrupted provision of the population with food and essential goods, including in front-line regions that are under constant threat of enemy strikes.

ATB Corporation is doing everything possible to ensure stable supplies of goods on the shelves of its 1,336 stores and food security in each of the regions of presence.
